These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Ed Vintage website and any purchase you make through our website. By accessing or using our website, placing an order, or purchasing products from Ed Vintage, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before placing an order. These Terms & Conditions are intended to apply to customers purchasing products for personal use and are subject to applicable UK consumer protection legislation. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to limit or exclude any statutory rights you may have as a consumer.
1. ABOUT ED VINTAGE:

2. USING OUR WEBSITE:
You may use our website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to: use the website for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose; attempt to gain unauthorised access to our website, systems or accounts; interfere with the security or operation of the website; copy, reproduce, distribute or commercially exploit website content without permission; use automated systems to scrape, copy or collect website content without our written permission; submit false, misleading or fraudulent information; or attempt to place orders using stolen, fraudulent or unauthorised payment methods. We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to the website where we reasonably believe that these Terms & Conditions have been breached.
3. PRODUCT INFORMATION:
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, measurements, colours, prices and other information displayed on our website are accurate and up to date. However: product colours may vary slightly depending on your device or screen settings; measurements may have reasonable manufacturing or measurement variations; product photographs may be for illustrative purposes where clearly stated; availability may change without notice; and we reserve the right to correct genuine errors in product descriptions, prices or other website information. Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights as a consumer. Products supplied by Ed Vintage will be of satisfactory quality, fit for their intended purpose where applicable, and as described, subject to your statutory rights under applicable UK law.
4. PRODUCT AVAILABILITY:
All products are subject to availability. Adding an item to your shopping basket does not guarantee that the item will remain available. If a product becomes unavailable after you place an order, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible and may: offer an alternative product where appropriate; delay fulfilment where you agree; or cancel the affected order and provide an appropriate refund. If we cannot fulfil an order and payment has already been taken, the relevant amount will be refunded.
5. PRICES:
All prices displayed on our website are shown in British Pounds Sterling (£) unless otherwise stated. Prices may change at any time, but changes will not affect an order that we have already accepted, except where there is an obvious pricing error. Where applicable, product prices will include VAT. Any applicable delivery charges will be displayed during checkout before you complete your purchase. We make reasonable efforts to ensure that prices are accurate. If an obvious pricing error occurs, we reserve the right to contact you before dispatching the order.
6. ORDERS:
When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products. Your order is not necessarily accepted merely because you receive an order confirmation or payment confirmation. We may refuse or cancel an order where there is a legitimate reason, including: the product is unavailable; there is an obvious pricing or product description error; we reasonably suspect fraudulent or unauthorised activity; payment cannot be successfully verified; we are unable to deliver to the address provided; or the order appears to have been placed in breach of these Terms & Conditions. If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will refund the relevant amount.
7. PAYMENT:
Payment must be successfully completed before an order is processed for dispatch, unless we have expressly agreed otherwise. We may accept the payment methods displayed at checkout. By providing payment details, you confirm that you are authorised to use the relevant payment method. Payment information may be processed by third-party payment providers. Ed Vintage does not normally have access to your complete card or banking credentials. We reserve the right to conduct reasonable payment and fraud checks. If a payment is reversed, charged back or disputed without a legitimate basis after an order has been fulfilled, we reserve the right to seek payment of any legitimate outstanding amount, subject to applicable law.
8. DELIVERY:
We aim to dispatch orders within the estimated timeframe displayed at checkout or otherwise communicated to you. Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including: postal or courier delays; severe weather; strikes; customs delays; public holidays; incorrect or incomplete delivery information; and events outside our reasonable control. You are responsible for providing an accurate delivery address. Where an order is returned because an incorrect or incomplete address was provided, we may contact you to arrange redelivery. Additional delivery costs may apply where legally permitted. We will not exclude or limit your legal rights where goods fail to arrive within a legally applicable timeframe.
9. RISK AND DELIVERY:
For consumer purchases, responsibility for the goods will generally remain with Ed Vintage until the goods come into your physical possession or the possession of a person you have identified to receive them, unless otherwise permitted by applicable law. If your order arrives damaged, you should contact us as soon as reasonably possible and provide photographs or other evidence where requested. This does not affect your statutory rights.
10. CANCELLATION – CHANGE OF MIND:
If you are a consumer purchasing goods online, you generally have a legal right to cancel your order within 14 days after receiving the goods, without having to provide a reason. To exercise this right, you should notify us clearly within the applicable cancellation period. You may contact us using email: info@ed-vintage.com or by writing to: Ed Vintage, Office 1603, 85 Dunstall Hill, Wolverhampton, WV6 0SR, United Kingdom. After notifying us of cancellation, you generally have a further 14 days to return the goods. The goods should be returned in accordance with the requirements of applicable law. You may handle the goods as reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functionality, in a similar manner to how you would be able to inspect them in a shop. However, you may be responsible for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect the goods.
11. EXCEPTIONS TO THE RIGHT TO CANCEL:
Certain goods and services may be excluded from the statutory cancellation right under UK law. Where applicable, this may include products such as: personalised or custom-made goods; goods made to your specifications; goods that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly; sealed goods that are unsuitable for return for health or hygiene reasons once unsealed; and other goods or services falling within a statutory exception. Where an exception applies, we will make this clear to you before or at the time of purchase where required.
12. REFUNDS:
Where you validly cancel an online purchase under the applicable consumer cancellation rules, we will process your refund in accordance with UK law. Generally, refunds will be made within 14 days of the relevant legal trigger, including receipt of the returned goods or evidence that the goods have been returned, as applicable. Refunds will normally be made using the original payment method. Where the law requires us to refund standard delivery charges, we will do so. If you selected a more expensive delivery option, we generally only need to refund the cost of the least expensive standard delivery option offered. We will not charge an administration fee for exercising a statutory cancellation right.
13. RETURN SHIPPING COSTS:
Unless the goods are faulty, incorrect, damaged on arrival, or otherwise subject to a statutory right requiring Ed Vintage to bear the cost, you may be responsible for the direct cost of returning goods when cancelling because you have changed your mind. Where goods are faulty, damaged, incorrect or otherwise do not conform to the contract, please contact us before returning them so that we can provide appropriate instructions. Nothing in this section limits any statutory rights you may have.
14. FAULTY, DAMAGED OR INCORRECT GOODS:
If you receive goods that are faulty, damaged, not as described, or otherwise do not conform to your legal rights, please contact us as soon as possible. Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, you may be entitled to: a repair; a replacement; a price reduction; or a refund. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, consumers have specific rights concerning goods that are not of satisfactory quality, not fit for purpose or not as described. Consumers generally have a 30-day short-term right to reject faulty goods and request a refund, subject to the circumstances and applicable legislation. Additional remedies may apply after this period. We may ask for reasonable evidence of the issue, such as photographs, videos or details of the fault, particularly where this will help us assess the problem. You will not lose your statutory rights simply because you did not notify us immediately, although prompt notification can help us resolve the issue more quickly.
15. EXCHANGES:
Where available, we may offer an exchange for another size, colour or product. An exchange may be subject to stock availability. If an exchange is unavailable or inappropriate, your statutory rights will continue to apply. Our voluntary exchange policy does not replace or restrict your statutory cancellation or consumer rights.
16. REFUNDS FOR NON-FAULTY GOODS:
Where you are exercising your statutory online cancellation right, refunds will be handled in accordance with Section 12. Where we offer an additional voluntary returns policy beyond your statutory rights, the specific conditions of that policy will be displayed on our website or provided to you at the time of purchase. Nothing in our voluntary returns policy limits your statutory rights.
17. ORDER CANCELLATION BY ED VINTAGE:
We reserve the right to cancel an order before dispatch where there is a legitimate reason, including: a product becoming unavailable; an obvious pricing error; suspected payment fraud; a technical or website error; inability to deliver the order; or a breach of these Terms & Conditions. If we cancel an order after receiving payment, we will refund the amount paid for the cancelled order. We will not use this section to unfairly remove rights you have under UK consumer law. Contract terms must be fair and transparent.
18. PAYMENT DISPUTES AND CHARGEBACKS:
If you believe that a payment has been made incorrectly, that an order was not authorised, or that there is another genuine payment issue, please contact us immediately. We encourage customers to contact Ed Vintage before initiating a payment dispute where the issue can reasonably be resolved directly. Please provide: order number; name used for the order; date of purchase; description of the issue; and any relevant supporting evidence. We will investigate legitimate payment disputes and attempt to resolve them fairly. Nothing in this section prevents you from exercising any legal rights or protections available to you. Where a payment dispute or chargeback is found to have been made fraudulently or without a legitimate basis, Ed Vintage may provide relevant order, delivery and transaction information to the payment provider or other appropriate parties where legally permitted.
19. COMPLAINTS:
If you have a complaint about an order, product or service, please contact us first so that we have an opportunity to resolve the matter. If a dispute cannot be resolved directly, you may have rights to pursue the matter through appropriate consumer dispute resolution mechanisms or the courts. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions prevents you from exercising your statutory consumer rights. We do not require customers to waive their legal rights in order to purchase from us.
